Augustus Gibbons is a character in the xXx franchise portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson. As of the third movie he is the only character to appear in every installment of the franchise, having appeared in xXx, State of the Union, and Return of Xander Cage. He is the NSA agent in charge of the XXX Program who recruits both Xander Cage and Darius Stone.
