Xander Cage is the main protagonist of xXx and xXx: Return of Xander Cage. Cage is a extreme sport enthusiast who become the first xXx operative.

History[]

Xander Cage (or simply referred to as X by his friends.) is a rebellious thrill-seeker with a notorious reputation. After destroying a senate's corvette he was employed by the NSA as an undercover agent with the mission of infiltrating a terrorist organization referred to as Anarchy 99 he reluctantly accepted his assignment to avoid imprisonment for his crimes. [1]

He was supposedly killed off after his initial assignment and was replaced by Darius Stone [2], although he was later found alive and well, having lived in a self-imposed exile in Dominican Republic. [3]

Skills[]

Xander Cage has a lot of skills thanks to his affinity with extreme sports, first of all his physical abilities, particularly his strength, agility, endurance, and his reflexes. He is also shown to possess a quick mind and deductive skills, as he is able to easily understand the deception of Agent Augustus Gibbons. Xander Cage is also a good marksman with firearms; by his own admission: "I had my leg in a cast for about three months. All I did was play first-person shooter video games."

Because of being an extreme sports practitioner, Xander Cage is familiar with the basics of equipment given to him by the NSA due to the similarities with his own equipment such as the parachute. His love of speed has led him to be proficient in the handling of many types of vehicles.

  • His only known family relative is his aunt, who was in the restaurant business all her life. It is unknown what her name is and whether she is still alive.
